Situated to the west of Walt Disney World Resort, the area is less populated than the US192, yet still offers an array of eateries and shops, as well as the obligatory WalMart and Publix supermarkets.

Heading south towards the junction of US192 (and east along it), the number and variety of shops, outlets and restaurants will certainly increase. For the keen golfers, head a couple of miles further south beyond the junction with US192 for a number of popular and challenging golf courses bordering US27.

A new development located midway on US27, Hampton Lakes offers a mixture of luxurious rental and residential properties, some of which offer lakeside views.

Communal facilities include communal pool (with cabana area), tennis courts, basketball area and sanded volleyball court for the whole family to join in. Children also have their own activity climbing frame and sanded play area.

Just south on US27 is the local Publix supermarket and shopping complex, with eateries including Applebees, Quiznos, an Indian take-away and a wine & bistro parlour. Walmart is around 1 mile north - just past the junction with US192.

Heading further down US27 towards Interstate 4, there is the new Posner Park shopping centre offering major stores including JC Penney, Target, Ross, Dress for Less and many more. Again, there is a further selection of restaurants available. Approximately 8 miles to the east lies the ChampionsGate development, which hosts the Omni Resort hotel - offering fine dining for that special occasion.
