The Buenaventura Lakes area is a very much established part of Kissimmee. It was one of the areas that initially attracted visitors to the area and so has countless shops, restaurants and eateries nearby. The location makes it perfect when travelling to/from the airport or via the Florida Turnpike to north Orlando or even south to Miami. The quickest and preferred route into Walt Disney World is via the Osceola Parkway toll road.
Villa Sol is a new gated community located very much on the east side of Kissimmee, with luxury Spanish-styled rental villas and townhouses set in landscaped gardens.
For guests, the community boasts excellent community facilities. These include a clubhouse with a fitness room, communal pool and spa, tennis courts, a basketball court, children`s play area and even communal barbecue facilities. A great way to know your fellow visitors. If you are feeling a little more energetic, there are also walk-ways and cycle paths around the community fauna and flora. If fishing is your thing, there is a boat dock and ramp which can be used to access the bordering East Lake Tohopekaliga. Golf courses are predominantly towards Kissimmee and south of the Walt Disney World area.
Access to the attractions is via the Osceola Parkway toll road, as this will take you straight into Walt Disney World. For Universal Studios and Seaworld, there is the SR417 Florida Greeneway. Getting to the Orlando International airport is also very straightforward, as this is just north on CR530.
Being located at the eastern end of Osceola Parkway, the majority of shops and restaurants are located towards Kissimmee and the Walt Disney World area. There is however a Walgreen's pharmacy and ATM just outside of the community.
Head around 3 miles west on Osceola Parkway for the local Publix supermarket (at the junction with Landstar Blvd), which also has a Pizza Hut, Domino's and Applebee's grill alongside. There is also a small shopping complex around 3 miles south of the Villa Sol community towards Buenaventura Lakes. Shops and eateries here include a 7-Eleven, Subway, bakery & deli, Papa John's Pizzeria, McDonald's, a chicken eatery and Chinese take-away. There is also a bank and medical center.
The nearest WalMart is around 4 miles west, near the Florida Turnpike junction. For more restaurants, shops and supermarkets travel further towards Orange Blossom Trail and the US192 highway into Kissimmee.
