This incorporates those villa rental communities nestled near to the new SR429 toll road and Old Lake Wilson Road. This area provides a quick route through to US192 and the Walt Disney World Resort - especially Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and the other Disney parks are easily accessible via the main thoroughfare of World Drive. Interstate 4 would be the preferred route for Seaworld, Universal Studios and the International Drive attractions.
Situated in a great location just south of US192, reaching the area attractions is very easy – that is if you can drag yourself away from the resort as the facilities available are unrivalled. They include convenience store, clubhouse, cinema, gym/fitness room, swimming pool/spa, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball court, children’s play area, video games, billiards room, picnic/BBQ area and table tennis. The resort also caters for those who cannot leave work at home with business facilities including Internet access.
For golfers, there are a great selection of championship courses in the area - including the Mystic Dunes Resort which effectively borders Windsor Palms.
Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, is a straightforward, as is the drive to Universal Studios via Interstate 4. If you would rather leave the car at the villa for the day, there is even resort transportation to the main theme parks and shopping malls (for an additional fee).
Just under 2.5 miles away towards US192, there is the Formosa Gardens Village shopping complex, which has a supermarket and pharmacy, walk-in medical centre, liquor store and a selection of other shops (including an ATM cash machine).
For eating out, there is a selection of restaurants and eateries, which include an Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster, TGI Fridays, Giordano's Italian restaurant, as well as both a Chinese take-away and Japanese sushi bar. For quick snacks, there is also a Subway, Taco Bell and Dairy Queen.
Heading onto US192 towards Kissimmee, you will find countless restaurants for eating out and an almost equal number of themed crazy golf to work off the meal!
