The Regal Palms Resort & Spa offers a collection of 3,4 and 5 bedroom rental homes and differs from the more traditional villa communities, in that it is based around a central pool complex and clubhouse. The pool area has 2 large heated pools, a shallow walk-in pool for small children, a lazy river, water slide and hot tub. Together this makes a fantastic place for families, especially when looking for a relaxing break from the theme parks and shops.
For a double-dose of relaxation, visit the spa or for the more active, a well-equipped fitness room. All of which are only available to guests staying in the resort. The clubhouse has a restaurant, sports bar, internet cafe, arcade games room and reception. There is also an outdoor activity play area for children and volleyball court. For golfers, there is absolutely no excuse as the Highlands Reserve course is just the other side of the main road.
When staying at Regal Palms, those day-to-day essentials can be purchased from the local Publix supermarket that bordes the community. The shopping complex also has a number of eateries including Applebees, Quiznos, an Indian take-away and a wine & bistro parlour. As this is within walking distance, it is ideal when you want to stay local in the evening. The nearest Walmart is around 3 miles north - just past the junction with US192.
For more shops and eateries, head south on US27 towards the intersection with Interstate 4. This is where you will find the Posner Park shopping centre, which has a number of major stores including JC Penney, Target, Ross and Dress for Less. For more restaurants and shops, the ChampionsGate development is located approximately 7 miles south-east of Regal Palms (alongside Interstate 4). This is also where you will find the Omni Resort hotel, which offers fine dining for any special occasion.

Regal Palms Resort & Spa is located on highway US27, around 2.5 miles south of the intersection with highway US192 (the main road through to Kissimmee). The most straightforward driving route to Walt Disney World is either US192 or as an alternative, the less-busy western route SR429. For Universal Studios, SeaWorld and the International Drive area, head for Interstate 4 then north towards Orlando. Orlando International airport is accessible from Interstate 4 and the Beachline Expressway SR528. This is also the route to Kennedy Space Center and Cocoa Beach.
For the Gulf coast and Busch Gardens, head south on Interstate 4 towards Tampa. For Legoland Florida, head south on highway US27 passing the intersection with Interstate 4.
