Our spacious, fully air-conditioned villa has its own private screened pool, much needed for those rest days or relaxing evenings after a fulfilled day at the local Disney parks.
Some shade will be found under the Lanai when sitting and chatting or dinning out doors and as the sun moves around the pool deck for young children and those who are not sun seekers but like the warmth of the Florida sun.
We have a large Privet garden area with beautiful flower's, shrubs and trees..
Wild visitors will often visit, early evening the hawk will happily sit on the garden fence.

While walking around our development there is much wild life to be seen, which will include raccoons, wild cats and even turtles!

The inside of the house takes your breath away. Makes you feel right at home. The décor the furniture and all the extras give you the home away from home feeling. The pool was amazing! We were surprised to find a pool table in the garage which was a fun night of entertainment for us. The extra amenities were amazing dishes, silverware, toaster, microwave, slow cooker, and many more that are not mentioned anywhere in the listing. There were extras that we found in the home that we did not use because we did not have kids. All kinds of items, from baby bath, toys for the pool, pack and play, 2 fans, and even a booster seat. We experienced no problems while at this location. And will definitely come back! We were 20 mins away from Disney and Universal. Sanford airport was 45 minutes away, Orlando International airport was 25 minutes away and Daytona was an hour and 25 minutes away. We can only grade this a 5 star. But it was much much more!"

I do think that some of the decor (dolls, personal pictures, etc..) was unusual for a rented home and could make it hard to feel at home in your “home away from home” but that’s a personal observation only and not a complaint. The pool area was nice and we opted to pay to heat.The kids enjoyed swimming daily though and it was very convenient to have access to the master bathroom from the pool area. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the cooking stuff we needed, the pool was clean and we had fun. It’s about 30 minutes from universal studios and there are several shops and grocery stores close by. Marie let us check out late on our last day which was very nice and much appreciated. I would give it 5-stars, but there were some unexpected things with our experience. Listing The listing is actually quite accurate, but I removed a star because I feel like some important details were not included that made a big impact on our stay. First, if want to use the pool then you have to pay an extra fee to have it heated and give it a few days to get heated. Second, the 'jewel of Kissimmee' is 1 of 6 such locations owned by the host and is a nickname used by many owners. It's no different from others in the area.The house was quite roomy for our small, young family and it was nice to have a kitchen to make meals in. The house was very clean and all the beds were comfortable. The location at first had me quite nervous, but after spending more time in the area realized that is was a good area. It's tucked away from traffic, which was nice! the light switches for some of the bedrooms are connected to plugs on the wall and lamps are plugged into those plugs. A great house and a great time!"

The villa is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with extra bed linens and towels. The kitchen has all the necessary pots, pans crockery etc. The lounge has comfortable reclining sofas, much appreciated after walking around the theme parks all day. The pool area is very private and the pool is lovely to have a refreshing swim after a long hot day. We only had 1 issue of a broken pool side lounger which we contacted the management company who responded immediately and replaced the lounger. 2 week family holiday to Disney/Universal staying at Windward Cay. All we can say is fabulous house, lovely pool, great location at a good price. Marie is fabulous, provided advice on flights, sent us lots of useful info before we left UK. The villa has 3 good size bedrooms, master room with on suite, 2 reception rooms, kitchen with big fridge freezer, garage and good size pool. Location near marker 14 on the 192 is ideal to get to any of the major attractions and shopping malls, Universal being the farthest still only 30 mins ish. MCO airport only 20mins or so. Would we recommend booking through Marie.... Absolutely we would."

We stayed here for three weeks with our two teenage children. We were greeted by Marie who had provided us with a welcome pack. The solar heated pool was amazing, so much nicer than getting into a cold pool! Walmart and a multitude of other restaurants and shops are only a few minutes away. Beautiful furniture and the owners are very accommodating. We stayed there with two young children and they were very helpful with extra needs. The pool was great. Everything was fairly clean and tidy, just a few things that needed an extra wash in the kitchen. Nothing we couldn't take care of ourselves. We had a fantastic time and this home away from home really took a lot of the stress away from traveling with young children. One side note - if you are used to very dark bedrooms at night/ early morning, the two smaller bedrooms have vertical blinds and light coloured curtains over top. No blackout blinds or blackout curtains so the light does filter into the rooms easily. The master bedroom has thick curtains over the vertical blinds so it is nice and d"

Windward Cay is an established development of 3 and 4-bedroom villas with private pools set within conversation woodland and located just off highway US192 near to Medieval Times.
The nearby highway US192 and adjoining SR535 both have Walmart supercenters, as well as a Publix, Super Target and Aldi supermarket. The Lake Buena Vista factory outlets are located on SR535, which is next to the Sunrise Plaza shopping complex. In addition to an abundance of smaller local shops in this area, there is a great selection of restaurants and eateries which include Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Chilis, Perkins, Cracker Barrel, IHOP, Miller's Ale House, Five Guys, Smokey Bones, TGI Fridays, Applebees, Ichiban Buffet and El Tenampa Mexican. Travel towards Walt Disney World resort on SR535 for more restaurants and the Orlando Premium Outlets on Vineland.
